My Keyboard is Broken

As I write this, the frustration is mounting. I can get quite annoyed whilst gaming if I continually die due to cheap tactics or developer faults, so, naturally, MW2 is a complete ragefest for me. Due to the way my keyboard is designed, the Alt Gr key needs to touch the space key in order for the space key to remain stationary (not wobble about like mad).

Unfortunately, my Alt Gr key snapped in half when I thumped the keyboard out of frustration whilst playing Infinity Ward's broken assfest (the keyboard came with the computer, so it's not very sturdy)

Can anyone recommend me a good (Cheap) keyboard? The space key needs to have some force applied to work, and I have to do so with my left thumb instead of my regular right. I type pretty fast, so it's really frustrating to have hitting the space key take twice as long as typing the word.

MW2 on PC

just go to local store and buy the cheapest keyboard.
stores like staples often have keyboards on display, should be easy to find an acceptable one.

I don't think anyone can really 'recommend' a keyboard, surely one keyboard is the same as the other? Just go to the store and find the cheapest one mate.

Not MW2 on PC. I just so happen to have my keyboard within bashing distance of my 360 and already have a broken controller due to MW2, and 360 controllers are pretty expensive.

Yeah, but I need one that's pretty sturdy so it can withstand my raeg.

You couldn't break this if you'd try!
That's literally the keyboard I'm using because my old one broke. I had to steal it from the old computer in my bedroom.

But yeah, key boards are like 15 for the cheapest ones, tops, I think. Grab one and replace it. Wal-Mart if you can, though that place is hell to navigate.
Though, I'm really disappointed that the message wasn't completely blank, letting the title speak for itself. Maybe a picture of a smashed keyboard.

Thanks for the help. I'm just going to grab one from ASDA some time soon. It'll probably be better than this one, anyway.

Sorry mate, I have a laptop, although I've no idea what I'd do if my laptops keyboard broke...
You usually have to get the laptop itself repaired, sometimes costs more than getting a new keyboard -.-

OT: Go to a place like futuresho- you don't live in Canada, well go to a electronics store that usually has a good variety of keyboards on display and try them out to see what you like best.

Go to razer, if you want a gaming keyboard, although if your prone to violent outbursts while gaming I would recommend it.

PC World is quite a good place to look for keyboards, since they have a wide range and most of them are on display, so you can test out their key resistances and whatnot.

They also usually have some good keyboards in their 'sale bins', especially when a new range comes in and they need to get rid of the old stock.

I bough my new keyboard from there a couple of months ago, and I really liked the fact that I could try all the keyboards for size before making a decision.
In the end I bought a funky Advent keyboard (from a 'sale bin' at 50% off) with customisable LED backlit keys, which is a godsend for typing in the dark.

I'd recommend a Logitech Internet 350 Keyboard; I'm using it right now and it's a very fine keyboard I must say.

It can take a frustrated bash on the board and you don't have to clean it that often. It also has hotkeys for media player, e-mail, internet browser and calculator.

I actually used that keyboard for a while, lack of a windows key was awesome. then i got the G15.

OT: go to your local pound/dollar/whatever currency you use store, they'll probably have some there.

Agreed. I'm using a G15 at the moment, and I used a 350 at school. Pretty damn comfy to use, and not to expensive.

I've just bought a new computer, and it didn't come with a keyboard so I bought a new one before it was delivered (A Logitech Wave).

Then when it came It DID come with an extra keyboard so I have a spare one. Do you want it? Your profile says you're in Scotland. I'm in NE England so I can post it to you.

i personally dont like the multimedia keyboards. i like the ones that have thin keys like laptop ones, they are soft to touch and sensitive.
