Im making good pogress on taming a horde of feral cats. Some of them will let me touch them now. And the rest have stopped bolting when i move towards them.
And thats all i really want in life, a horde of cats.

Recently finished university. Now living in a great flat with a boyfriend I adore, and spending my weekdays doing a job I love.
For something more random: I recently won my first ever fencing competition. It was the Surrey Region Ladies Team Foil (to which only two teams turned up!) but we bloody well gave the other team a damn good thrashing, and I've got a shiny medal to prove it.
Why is it that the small victories in life are so often the sweetest?

Hmmm well my friends are all good and so is my girlfriend who is ofcourse brilliant.
It's just work that's annoying really, since AS levels are frustrating and I keep feeling worried about my future.
Atleast I have a week off so thats pretty good!

My job consists of taking care of cats, dogs, rabbits and some other small animals that come in.
I was planning to leave it at that, but let me elaborate:
Sometimes I get scratched a bit by some *****-pussy or asshole-cat, but in general they all just want some attention and a big hug. What more appreciation do you want for a job?
Oh, and I get to boss our interns around. >
"You, clean the toilet. You, clear the cat-vomit from those towels aaaand YOU, I need a massage." ...or something similar.

Well, most things are okay, but the part that makes life sort-of rock nowadays:In about a week and a half, I start teaching classical dance. Something I've been wanting to do for years. Both excited and nervous, but mostly happy.
S'all good, I have a job which was going bad until I reminded my manager she hired me knowing I have two listed disabillities then she learned to cut me some slack. I have a girlfriend . Mass Effect 3 is coming soon.
Really great...? School is good this year so far.
Otherwise I guess I am able to continue devouring books because I found Fanfiction.net. Good times.

I've got 2 12-packs of Vanilla Coke, going to a flea market in the morning (looking for a Dreamcast), am a month away from a week-long trip to see my loving GF, less than a week away from a paycheck, l'm several rooms away from my next boss in Symphony of the Night (AToW), have a decent backlog of games to go through if I can't find a Dreamcast and am generally happy!
Not to mention I'm inking some drawings and gaining back a bit of notoriety on deviant art.

Well... I have a job that I really enjoy, I'm earning a comfortable amount of money. I have Sunday night Magic tomorrow and the girl I like (who has been showing interest in me) will be there and we're grabbing a drink or two afterwards.
The England/Italy rugby game is on this afternoon and I shall be enjoying that with a few beers and a pizza.
Also I am off to Leeds next weekend (and have the whole following week off work) to visit some of my awesome Uni friends who I don't see nearly enough of.
Finally it's Valentines Day soon which means only one thing... Mass Effect 3 Demo! At last a Valentines Day I can get behind!

I am dirt poor, I have to drive 45 minutes to get to school, I can't seem to get a job, my parents (my source of food and shelter) have taken a massive pay cut, and I can't seem get an internship to save my live. So why am I so content? I dunno. Might be that I am finally in classes related to my major, and I love them. Whatever, life is good atm.

OT: Back in the saddle, relationship-wise. Hooked up at a party, much to the chagrin of some people I know who weren't getting off with someone. She was fairly sober, I was smashed. Drunkenly asked her out, she said yes, and luckily she's an incredibly nice person. This is going to be good! Taking her to see Woman In Black on wednesday.
As for the rest of my life: Aside from someone dropping an A Song of Ice and Fire spoiler on me like a *****, I can't complain. I've finally found time to write my novel, and there's a job I definitely think I could get in the village.

It's good to be alive.
I got the results for my year 12 exams last month and ended up ranking in the top 15% of the country. Every university I applied for sent me letters of offer to study a science and engineering double degree. I've chosen my university, I've sorted out accommodation staying on campus, everything's ready and I start in 9 days. I'm excited and nervous at the same time but I think it's going to be quite an experience. For the past 2 months I've been on holidays kicking back playing video games and picking up on my instruments. Right now life is pretty damn good for me. If I can settle into uni smoothly and stay on top of my work and meet some new people I think I'm going to have a good 2012. In 5 years time I'll be an engineer and a scientist.
