when it's 9/10 time spent on gathering then the work itself won't pay off, unless you get an award of patience and prize money for "mining up whole minecraft world"

Oh I'm personally fine with it as it is, I watched both parts in a full and enjoyed it, though maybe it was a bit repetitive. It's just you'd get a lot more attention with a short video, with that pointing to full videos if people want to know the inner workings of your city. I think your city deserves as much attention as it can get. =)pliusmannn said:

Although you're right i dont think it would actually have been possible for him to mine all that material in 6 months.

And while i agree with this opinion, i can understand that other people might find the mining tedious, and if you want to skip that then obviously thats your choice
