My Minecraft Rage!!

Minecraft pissed me off so much yesterday. Firstly, I had found 6 diamond close to lava and bedrock only to die by the lava and lose all my items. Which is fine i guess, not the games fault its me who failed. Afterwords, I found another 6 diamonds. As i mined them, they dropped on the floor and i walked over them. I mined it using a iron pick axe (I didn't use stone, Im not that much a noob) but they didn't even show up on my inventory screen! (which still had empty slots). They just never showed up. From now on, when i find rare ores I'm going to mine just one and see if it appears in my inventory. If not ill just restart the game.

I guess these bugs are still normal in alpha stage, I'm just annoyed that i lost a total of 12 diamond in one few hour sitting. So, what minecraft fails have you experienced or seen?

Minecraft has been behaving a little oddly recently. Yesterday I was building one of my celebrated (in my own mind) sky forts and a block just suddenly blew up for seemingly no reason (and no, it wasn't an explosive baddie). The problem with sky forts is that when something like this happens one must rebuild a skeleton mountain it climb back up to the fort. Took ages.

I had a similar problem with iron a couple of days ago. 'Collected' about a dozen pieces that didn't go into my inventory which was frustrating even though iron isn't as rare as diamond. Also managed to burn my house down after building a solid stone fireplace.

Did the Diamond fall into lava? If it did, it would have burned up immediately. Or, maybe you already had one in your inventory, it would have bipased the bottom row. Just remember, 2 diamond is the limit. Once you find that, dig up, or make a chest.

Also, when you find diamond, dig around it to see if there are any holes/lava.

Pretend this is like Nethack, always make sure of everything. And always, ALWAYS, carry a stack of wood for torches, pickaxes, and such.

I burned my house down. I had a bucket of lava and opened my inventory. The game took it as " open the inventory AND put lava on the ground" my house burned 100 blocks in the air.

I've had problems with eating food to restore my health. Sometimes I'll eat it, and it'll disappear, but my health doesn't increase. It's weird, but the bugs don't bother me that much.

Oh and my old computer (Which has since died) had a habit of randomly deleting my save files.

People you haveto remember this is only an Alpha version of the game, most of the stuff is already working perfectly well, but there are still alot of glitches.

Dug out a cavern near the bedrock, had an infinite water source nearby and a lava pool for emergencies. Built a wooden house underground (cos hey why not?) and then one time accidentally burnt the house to the ground. That was somewhat annoying.

Well, I did recently lose all my stuff while making a statue. It was of a giant man urinating, but the kicker was that the urine was lava.

I didn't realize the stream of lava went downhill right into my storage area... made of wood.

It was like a movie of me running through the blaze trying to save all of my stuff, but in the end I had to abandon because gumbies started exploding around me.

I lost about 70 ish things of diamond.

Long story short, my moat is really big. And only covers half the entire freaking mountain I live on. ....that one block I accidentally hit... ._.
