Just saw the opening scene from the classic Resi 2, and I was hit by a bit of a realisation! I don't think I've seen the start of the game since I was quite young, probably in the first year or so of its release. Bearing that in mind...
In the opening scene, where the trucker has been bitten by a zombie, he says "why did he bite me?" and holds his arm, covered in blood. His shirt is white and I don't think you can see the rest of his arm, and when I was young I could have sworn his entire arm had been eaten off- leaving just the bloody stump.
I never questioned how somebody could be that relaxed after having a limb torn off, but its only now that I stop and think... wow... why did that not stick out to me?
