My preordering impasse

I am at quite the impasse. Quite the impasse, indeed. I logged onto Steam the other day, and it kindly informed me that I could preorder Left 4 Dead 2, and get the demo early; OR preorder Borderlands. And I just don't know what to do.

Left 4 Dead bored the fuck out of me, but I have high hopes for Left 4 Dead 2.

Borderlands is basically Fallout 3 after it did some heavy experimenting, and I absolutely loved Fallout 3.

So, I am asking you, FPSB and the Escapist (Yes, I copy/pasted it, and posted it on both). I can only preorder one, which should it be?

EDIT: Yes, I said I was bored of L4D, but I played everything that game had to offer, and it had a lot more potential and L4D2 will utilize.

I'm just really pumped for borderlands. Or you could do the smart thing and not pre-order anything then wait for them to both to come out and see if they're any good.

I'm going to say Borderlands as seeing as L4D bored you, why would L4D2 change that?

Even though I'm going to be getting L4D2 before I get Borderlands.

Since you didn't like Left 4 Dead, and I have no idea what Borderlands is, I'll say go with Borderlands from your description.

I might add that the reason I don't like L4D is because I literally played it to death. Every once in a while, I will launch it, and play a bit. But, as I stated, L4D2 will capitalize on L4D's missed potential.

EDIT: Otherwise, I have basically swung all the way toward Borderlands. Thanks for the input, everyone.
