And my problem is that there isn't enough of it with jrpg's, especially on the handhelds. Now I know most companies don't do it because its expensive and they fear they wouldn't get that many sales in Europe especially but when you do it and think that you can sell enough to turn a profit please make sure the game is on the market; looking at you Atlus. Because yesterday I walked down to my local Game to pick up a copy of Etrian Odyssey 4 and was told by the clerk that it wasn't in stock or when they going to get it and that a couple of people had asked that already to him that day (this was before noon as well).
Now I know I could have ordered from Amazon but heck I wanted trade a few games in and save myself some cash instead and maybe support the dwindling game retail shops here in the UK. Anyway back to my point is that then I thought fuck it Ill suck up the £10 I would've saved and get it on the eshop when I got home, but then to my surprise saw that it comes out a week later for download. In all honesty I was shocked since up until now every major 3DS game has launched same day on the eshop, why have it different now.
And thus now I am debating buying the game next week since by then I will be back in college and I wanted to sink some hardcore hours before then so that I could play from time to time whenever I could, because lets face it the beginning of jrpg's tend to be a bit slow and I like to knock the tutorials out in a sitting or two.
I am glad that Atlus localizes a lot of their games but fuck, don't complain you get sales when you dont put the product out there, and this also sucks because if it does it may actually persuade other companies to the same.
