MY PS2 Doesn't Play Blue Disks

My PlayStation 2 won't play and disks with the blue color. Any tips?

Oops. Sorry. I accidentally posted this twice. And I mean purple disks. Not blue-ray.

If you mean the purple disks, you need to upgrade to the PS2 slim.

But its hilariously pathetic if you're trying to play Blueray on a PS2.

No need for that. If someone gave me a blue ray disk and a dvd disk I wouldn't know how to tell the difference, it's totally understandable someone could think they're the same thing.

I wasn't trying to play a Blueray. It won't play blue/purple game disks.

the coloured underside PS2 games are CDs (not DVDs as they are two different things), so at least you know now that for some reason it wont play CDs.
