MY PS2 Doesn't Play Blue Disks

MY PlayStation 2 won't run blue disks. Any tips?

Is it the Slim or the Fatty?

If its the slim, nothin' to worry about; if its the fatty, its busted.

It's the fatty. Do you know the specific problem?

You could try taking it apart & cleaning the lens or realigning the laser. I had to do it today as mine decided it didn't want to read ps1 discs anymore. Can't guarantee that it'll work though and I'd avoid doing it if it's still covered by a warranty of any sort.

Also, I'm not an expert, I'd probably break it.

Just send it in too Sony or a repair shop if you're afraid of breaking it, and its a laser problem.
