I got to thinking about them again, what with the upcoming remake of Capcom's Duck Tales they're behind. I'm not worried that it'll be BAD, they just tend to produce...well, B titles. Games that are by no means bad, quite playable and enjoyable, but they just end when they felt like they were really getting going, or leave you with the feeling of 'well, that was a game' upon finishing them. They just feel like 'wasted potential' most of the time. They have had SOME games I'd call downright good, if flawwed, most notably the original Shantae, and Contra 4, but overall their games tend to just be 'decent'.

WayForward is a small but growing company that I honestly think make pretty impressive titles.

I personally think their output is quite high quality. They probably don't have much money to work with, and I think what they make is superb for what they have. The fact that they have been entrusted with the DuckTales IP from Capcom speaks leagues about their potential.

I'm really looking forward to DuckTales, it looks like a very worthy tribute to the original. And I'm very sad at the state of Shantae on Steam's Greenlight. Shantae should have been Greenlit long ago.
