I love the mythbusters but I wish they had less recaps, I feel insulted like they think their viewers can't remember what happened before the commercial break.

Best explosion on their show: water heater
Sadly my friend, it is both filler and bringing the people just checking in up to speed.

1. They are currently in the midst of a 21 hour Mythbusters marathon.

2. Mythbusters is the only show I watch.

3. My eyes are bleeding.

Test: Explain how all three are related.
Dude, seriously?

*turns on TV*

OH HELL YES!
You've missed 11 hours, don't miss the last ten!

Yes I get that it's for people just tuning in and such but the commercials are SO frequent that with all that crap and the commercials the show is like 15 minutes.

Screw the horror movies I was going to marathon, this is a better way to spend my Halloween night.

Hyperbole makes me sad. The show is still around 40-45 minutes long.

I love them, but anyone who says they're scientifically 'accurate' needs a slap across the head (Gibbs style).

good god thats not a comic, it's a block of text.
I know words make your thinker box hurt. But they do sort of mean stuff. You should look into it. Because what THOSE particular words mean actually has importance. And truth. Important importance, and important truth.

The comic isn't just a good laugh. I totally agree with the message. Mythbusters has been more beneficial to the state of scientific literacy than any college prof i can think of.

LONG LIVE MYTHBUSTERS.

I enjoy the show. Though occasionally they have some pretty slow episodes.

anyway, i used to love them, but the chick is fucking annoying and adam's hair makes me want to cry so i do not watch it anymore.
I have to agree, Adam's hair is terrible. It makes him look like the Dutch boy

Words fail me in describing my quite frankly retarded love for the show. The Mythbusters are doing the human race a titanic favor by ripping up stupid myths. Adam himself has expressed disapproval of Creationism.

I had to drop the Discovery Channel (yeah I know) but my favorite one was the Moon Landing. Giant Lasers baby. All Day.

From what I've seen Mythbusters is like chocolate, everybody loves it.

My favourite myth would have to be...I can't decide.

You know in those cartoons and old war movies, the enemy throws the grenade and the soldier jumps on it with his helmet covering it to shelter the blast? Would that work? Maybe he would die, but would it shelter it enough to keep his teammates alive?

I like the show. Not enough to have a favorite, but it is entertaining to watch.

I really liked their duct tape episode.

Well, and anything with guns. Or explosions.

I love Mythbusters. And I have two favorites: The Chicken Gun, and the one with the insect bombs that ended up with Adam losing an eyebrow.

I'm not as fond of the junior mythbusters, especially Torie (Tory? Not sure how he spells his name). that being said, he really does put his body on the line. In the "clinging onto the edge of a building" myth, he really whacked the hell out of his knee- so bad he had to go to the hospital and was bleeding all over the place- that's gonna come back to bite him in the butt someday.

my problem with mythbusters is that, of course the payoff is great, but there's only like 3 per episode at most. the rest is just BUILDUP BUILDUP BUILDUP BUIL-ah god i cant take it anymore, crash that ferrari into the the nitroglycerin already!

I really love mythbusters but I am very scornful of the large amount of goofing off and focusing on myths with large explosions in over abundance. The problem? There is too much! While it is good to see some goofyness and explosions, seeing them all the time decensitizes you to it thus it loses its appeal. They need to moderate.
