He's apparently on some America sucks tirade. America isn't really doing much other than talking with the other countries who don't care for North Korea or their tests and threats.

I think the major fear is that another war may deteriorate whats left of our foreign relations. Sure it looks like it's not a problem now, but what say you if China decides to back them up. I say that because with densely populated cities all within firing range they are very much a threatened by NK. Add the fact that, generally speaking and historically speaking, Communist dictatorships often defend one another (dying breed i guess) and we could have one hell of a situation.

Roughly 2.5 million troops actually. China does not have a billion man army. Also China lacks projection power and thus is not a threat to anyone militarily.

If they do anything serious, and even if they do bomb the US, we have so many allies around the world that their country would be wiped from the map less than a day later.

WE don't have that many anymore.

Not really likely. To be honest US/China relations are pretty good right now. And thats even more evident as Us diplomats are meeting in China to talk about North Korea, not the other way around.

Well, as said above, if they annoy China, China only has to land its entire army in North Korea and it'll sink into the sea under the sheer weight of numbers, China's army is that big.

I just hope it doesn't descend into nukes, although at least we don't have Bush or Palin's finger on the button, I think if it was ever necessary to use nukes, it'd be a long considered opinion.

I think Brown would have to think long and hard about involving the UK in more US conflict however, he's already pretty low in the ratings, and sending UK troops to join in again would about seal his political fate I believe.

It wouldn't sadly even matter if it was just and needed to involve UK troops, people are too untrusting after the Iraq thing.

I do feel sorry for anyone living in North Korea tho, must feel like every day is a bonus, 'oh good, our leader hasn't had us bombed yet'.

if north korea does attack, with or without nukes, it wont fucking matter, the ground war will be over in no more than a month, or faster than afganistan went down, and if its nuclear, they will FUCK die.

If N.Korea starts a war they're pretty much screwed in any way you look at it. They can't win, but let's say they have the power of magical luck on their side and let's look at it RTS wise, the US has more troops, the US has better military hardware, the US has more rockets and bombs, the US has more ground and more allies.
