The only game I can say has caught my attention is Skyrim, but I'm so convinced that it will be crap that I don't plan on buying it.

Other than that, anything that pops onto a good Steam sale. I've already got DNF and Portal 2 so far this year. Not much need for more than that honestly.

I hope to get Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm by the end of the year if the prices have dropped low enough. That's $40 for Crysis 2 and $30 for Bulletstorm. Probably won't happen, but we'll see. After that, I'll definitely be getting Journey and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath off PSN. Journey just looks really interesting and I've not been disappointed by Thatgamecompany yet, and Stranger's Wrath is an old favourite of mine, so I'm excited. Then there's the Shadow of the Colossus/Ico HD Collection and the Silent Hill Collection, which I'll likely be getting right away depending on their prices at release, though I will have to check out the new voice actors for the Silent Hill games before I decide to buy that. If they're worse, I'll just make the effort to find the PS2 versions. Everything else that's coming out this year is going to have to wait until next year for a price drop, because I only have so much money.

Pretty much Skyrim and Saint's Row The Third are all that spring to mind, tho I do intend to give EDF: Insect Armageddon a look-see.

I will preorder Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad as soon as it becomes available. I might also buy the witcher 2.

I'll buy whatever game comes into the price range that I deep it deserves. However I have been wanting to play Shadow of the Colossus ever since it came out. But I never had a PS2, and my PS3 Slim does not play PS2 games. I may buy the double pack at the full price of $40. But the most likely scenario is that I will wait until it drops down into the $20 price range.

In no particular order the games I hope will drop into the $10-20 bracket this year are:
Fable 3
Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Bayonetta
Heavy Rain
Alan Wake

These guys have it for under $40 if you happen to live in Australia.

Nope, I live in America. I also don't have any means of making online purchases, so I'm stuck waiting for the normal retail store prices to come down, which is like waiting for paint to dry underwater. Thanks for trying to help, though. :)

Definitely:

Tales of Symphonia
Eternal Darkness
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Saints Row the Third
(HA! ...and here you thought I was making ironic commentary on how most new games suck)
(theydobutthat'sbesidethepoint)

Maybe:

StarFox Assault
Fallout New Vegas
... if the GotY addition comes out.
Zelda WW and/or TP
Pikmin 2 and 1

Thpppt:

Assassin's Creed Revelations... stop with the fucking pointless games and get on with the actual STORY please.
Call of Duty or whatever other FPS is or will be released... no different mechanics or even graphics really... the same game with different stories, items and settings... no thanks.
Final Fantasy Whatever... bwahahahaha!

A Valley Without Wind [http://www.arcengames.com/w/index.php/games/avww-features] is the only one that's pretty much guaranteed, as long as the demo doesn't suck, but I've been following the dev blogs and stuff, and I'm pretty hopeful.

The Witcher 2 is also very likely. Almost got that in the Steam sale, but I'm holding off until I get a new video card this fall. It'll run quite well on my current one, but I was a big enough fan of the first one that I'd rather wait a little bit longer and have it be "perfect" instead of just really good.

Everything else...eh, whatever. It'll have to be pretty amazing and pretty cheap, because I have quite the backlog of stuff to catch up on at the moment.
