Batman AK is worrying. The gameplay showed mostly empty roads, which were really short. Need stretches of motor to really let rip. Also the bat tank thing was terrible and monotonous if all we will use it for is killing drones - after all before you attack, a lady says there are no people in them. Just so boring. I want to be chasing enemies around at speed, not plodding around in a crappy slow tank. Anyway, thats the only worry i have for that game.....rest of it looked awesome.

Does anyone else remember in the games based on the Tim Burton Batman movies where the had you firing a bat grapple thing to lamp posts so you swing yourself around 90 degree corners at speed.

Most i would like is a motorbike - a normal one, not a bullet proof one. So you really have to look after it. After all, there were loads of bike parts in the games.
Not to mention that in New Vegas they are everywhere and fully repaired, so they do work, it's just that we're not allowed to have them because of fast traveling...or there are mods like the Jet Pack. :3
I also wanted the final boss to come at you in a tank....gotta be some that still work in museums and in bases surely? Talk about shitting one. lol. Or one gang has access to a few vehicles which gave them an edge above the others. Looks like 2015 is going to be when the game is released. Though i would love it if they released it this year. Now that game would make me buy a new console. Though a jet pack would do nicely now that "power jumps" are making a comeback in games.

I've made the mistake of buying Bethesda games on consoles in the past, and Bethesda games are really the only PC games I'll get for the simple fact that I need all the mod support and community patches just to make the damn things run. >.<
I used to have New Vegas on the PS3, and then I got Skyrim on the 360 and encountered more bugs on the 360 version of Skyrim than the PS3 version of New Vegas. That's when you know something is messed up.

Also, it's be released 2015!? Tell me where you got this info my good man! I've already put way too many hours into other Bethesda RPGs, and I must plan ahead around the LP schedule before I get distracted from recording and editing.

Announced Games:

Witcher 3, the open world may bite it in the ass as it may not be as tight and handcrafted as 2.

Pillars of Eternity/ Torment, my expectations are so high im not sure its possible to live up to them.

Star Wars Battlefront 3, it may just be Battle Field with a SW skin.

Unannounced but games i think will still come out.

Metroid, please oh fucking god do not let this be like Other M.

Elder Scrolls, being even shallower than Skyrim.

Fallout, bethesda get do it not obsidian.

I'm worried about the camera in the leaked footage of FromSoft's BloodBorne.

Since their now leaked "Project Beast" footage turned out to be a build of the game that was supposed to be shown for last year's TGS, I noticed that their traditional Souls camera placement is being put a lot closer to the player character in the now recent 30sec leaked E3 footage. Only thing that's daunting about it is that it might be tooooo close for a now noted to be quicker paced action title, where turning the camera and knowing your surouindings fast is crucial. Revengeance is a good example of a great action game sort of hindered by a camera too close to it's character, so I'm hoping BloodBorne's is put there for tensions sake/it works properly in the end.

I was expecting Fallout 4 to be at E3 and then released near christmas. Theyve been making it since they released Skyrim. So if not this year then it has to be next year. IT HAS TO BE!!!! No proof just that i really want this game so much. An my hope will keep me going.....next year im probably going to say "its got to be 2016....has to be". :)

Dragon Age Inquisition... but after mistakenly pre-ordered DA2, I'll wait this time (cautiously optimistic.)

Otherwise, I'll get excited when the games come out. Another 100+ hours for the Bethsoft/Ob 3.

Sorry to say, but don't get your hopes up, my friend. There was an interview back in February where Todd Howard said it's probably going to be a while before they even announce Fallout 4. So it looks like we've got a mainline Bethesda drought upon us.

OT: I'm not too worried about Dragon Age: Inquisition itself. I managed to enjoy Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3, so if this is, indeed, an improvement I have no real concerns. What I am worried about is that if the game is anything less than perfect, people will tear it to shreds. I really don't want to go through another period of having to hide my like of a game for fear of being attacked for it.

I'm also concerned that the new Tomb Raider won't put more effort into puzzles than the last one did. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but come on, give us some puzzles, guys.

I'm really looking forward to Azure Striker Gunvolt while at the same time worried if it'll even be released on the Dutch 3DS e-shop.

That the new Zelda for the WiiU won't be as open (world) as Nintendo promises.
I don't mind the old formula, even if I always thought open world in Zelda would fit like a hand in the glove. But now that they promised open world, x amount of dungeons, any order you want, I will be a bit disapointed if that won't be the case after all.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Oh well. :) I enjoyed both DA2 and ME3. Haters be damned......not only do i enjoy Morrowind, but i still play the original vanilla copy that came out on the Xbox. :) With the new Tomb Raider, apart from the horrible title, i also hope they do more with the puzzles. Love the originals massive room size puzzles....annoying.....but felt good once you crack it.

Just about all upcoming games, but especially the new Ass Creed: that there will be forced coop, and you won't be able to get the full experience if you opt out.

Umm. This must be what getting old feels like.
Yeah I hear that. That in and of itself is a bit concerning isn't it? Like I see a lot of games I'm definitely going to pick up but a lot of them just look playable rather than exciting or interesting.
Eh, I suspect a good part of it is just the new console generation causing a lull.

I have my issues with AAA gaming, and gaming in general, but I'm not quite old and grumpy enough to dismiss it as a lost cause.

"No Man's Sky" might not function as well in practice as it does in premise since it's still a bit experimental.
Oh yeah, No Man's Sky. Forgot about that one.

Guess I can put the bottle of sleeping pills away for another few months.

I'm concerned about Oddworld: New 'n Tasty lacking the more genuine and dark atmosphere of the original. But then I already know this to be true from the footage I've seen so far. Abe does his overly goofy voice instead of his shy, soft-spoken one. By rendering the levels in full 3D it actually highlights the flatness of the environments. And the animation really lacks weight compared to the original.

Not that I mind too much. I mean, the original will always be there, so it's not like this new version will take its place. And I still can't wait to control good old Abe again.

Far Cry 4; I'm scared that Pagan Min is just going to be Vaas again. And don't get me wrong, I loved Vaas with all of my heart and soul, but I hope Pagan is somewhat different, ya know?

Also with the Witcher 3, I'm scared the console versions will be no suitable for consoles. How easy will it be to navigate PC menus with a PS4 controller.

Those probably weren't the kind of game OP had in mind.

Ohh, ohh! Mirror's Edge 2. I've been happy about almost everything I've heard, but I'm concerned they're going to make it too combat-heavy. Some refining of the combat systems would be welcome, but I'd prefer enemies be something that you bypass or shove aside while you sprint for the exit, not something you need to systematically eradicate before moving on. Also, there's the potential that EA will fuck it up with their obsessive online bullshit. I've heard comparisons with Journey's approach to online, which makes me happy, but they could just be saying that to lull me into a false sense of security.
I had any and all games in mind. I just wanted to get a discussion going from people who aren't so blinded by their fandom and nostalgia and can see issues even with things they love. I'm kind of tired of seeing all the people drooling over their favorite games and aggressively attacking those who would dare criticize because it challenges whether they set their standards too low. It's all good we have different opinions, but if it makes you into a drooling fanboy with a closed mind and easy satisfaction then it's no fun discussing the game with you or playing it with you. You don't have to agree and you can certainly be okay with being more easily entertained than others, but the least you could do is try and understand the point of view and I just don't see that as often as I'd like.

Ah, I almost forgot about the new Mirror's Edge. Judging from what I've seen it may work out fine in the end. They seem to have done enough to make it into more of a shove/bypass and run than the previous one, which would force you to fight using its lackluster combat mechanics even if there was an alternate way (usually because the alternate way wasn't worth it, if not damn near impossible to the point of annoyance rather than challenge). See 0:55 - 1:24 in the video below

5) That Zelda U and Hyrule Warriors will turn out to be nowhere as good as they're hyping it up to be.
Honestly, I feel that is almost guaranteed. Zelda has a habit of promising things and certainly executing them in the finished product, but they don't really live up to the full potential people initially imagined when they first heard the new Zelda was going to do this or that. I have a feeling they will still be worth it though.

That's another game that slipped my mind when I posted this. I always thought Battlefront had tons of untapped potential especially in the department of strategy and instant land to space combat. But from what little we know I don't think they'll live up to the latter thing, which is too bad considering that fans clearly want that. I guess there is always the land to space mods for the previous Battlefront, but that's not really the same as I and other fans imagined the potential to be and I only have the original Xbox version anyway.

To be fair, Battlefront was originally inspired by Battlefield 1942, not that it should excuse them to just copy/paste and slap Star Wars on it.

I've only played Oddworld: Much's Oddysee. I have seen bits and pieces of the very first one though and it did seem to me the remake has the problem of updating lighting and cleaning up things to the point that it ruins the atmosphere of certain areas and scenes. Making it look better for the modern generation should not compromise the atmosphere.

that Dragon Age inquisition will be DA2/ME3 all over again

I mean I was ready to wash my hands of the whole thing...but then I don't know..it seemed they were actually trying this time
so you don't want a game that's mostly great with a few bad eggs(and no the fucking ending was not that bad and DA:O had just as many copy and pasted environments they were just spread out more)

OT: destiny I'm afraid they'll making it too much like call of duty, that would be horrible.

oh crap did someone spoil the ending for you or something? if so I understand a bit better now.

As for ME3 the ending seriously doesn't make the game bad it takes it from a great to a good game which is by no means bad.(still in great game status with the extended cut)
