Name that band quiz!

Hi everyone,



I'm a bit of a lurker rather than a poster but have been playing a 'name the band quiz' with mates on email and thought you folks might like playing, will answer and update as much as possible if you like it.

For example
Clue: People standing in the middle of a field holding iron rods, during a thunderstorm!
Answer: The Lightening Seeds

Uh, I'm kind of at a loss here. Are these supposed to be song lyrics or hints? Because if it's the latter, I'm thinking Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood for number 3...

Uh, I'm kind of at a loss here. Are these supposed to be song lyrics or hints? Because if it's the latter, I'm thinking Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood for number 3...

You are absolutely spot in with Dr Feelgood for number 3. Love the lateral thinking.

But the name is the band name and band name only, no reference to songs they've sang or anything like that, it's just all puns or clues toward the band name itself.

I'd no idea Motley crue had a song called Dr Feelgood (look up Wilco Johnson, or Dr Feelgood if you've never heard of the band itself)
