Ok, trying to remember the name of this game. Old Neo-Geo game that I used to play on Neo-Geo arcade (remember those?). It was a side-scrolling beat-em-up that was about as Japanese as a pack of Akitas fighting over sushi.
You played these guys who were fairly standard fighting good guys, but you could pick up power-ups that would transform you into a variety of different characters, including a Samurai sword master, a Ninja who moved everywhere by doing back flips (which 11 year old me thought was awesome) and even a Samurai Dog (which me now thinks is awesome). You fought enemy Ninjas, Samurai, Demons, who all seemed to come from some floating Japanese castle in the sky, and there was even one level that took place on the a galloping herd of horses (yes, awesome).
Anyway, I've had this game stuck in my head and I can't remember what it was called, anyone know?
