If it's a boy, John. It's a first name shared by me, my dad, and my grandpa, and I kinda want to keep it going. (Me and my dad both go by our middle names to avoid confusion.)

If it's a girl, Susan. For the grandma I never met. (Died in a plane crash about ten years before I was born.)

If a Girl, First name, I would like to be Meryl (For Metal Gear Solid, Of Course).

If a Boy, Kincaid, although I wouldn't mind him having Kincaid as a middle name too.

Well, if it was a male, Baratus. I just fucking love that name. If it was a female, Parias. I love that name too. So yeah, one of those.

Though it'd be a sad case, since the only way I'm ever having kids is if it was accidental :/

My partner's family have this tradition thing going on where they rotate through three names for the male members; Daniel, Joseph and Desmond. And he's the first-born boy to his parents, which means he's supposed to use Joseph for his son. I can't see it happening, myself. I can also see arguments over it, among other things (Irish-catholic family vs lil' Atheist me). I'd have preferred Desmond, though not by much.

As for my own personal preferences... I quite like Kaidan for a boy. I'd never heard it until Mass Effect but it grew on me. No idea for a girl.

I love the name Kai, so if I had a boy I'd probably call him that. Or Ben (Benjamin), Ben is a really good name.
Kai is a quite common boy's name in Finland. It also means 'probably'. And every one of them gets the calling name Kaitsu.

OT: Ben, Benjamin or something like that. Which is nowhere even close to my name btw., despite my nick. Natalie if it's a girl. Don't know about the second names. This is barely a pressing matter anywho.

If I had a son, I'd like to name him Brian Layne. Brian is kinda but not really a family name (it's my middle name and I have an uncle on both sides named Brian), and Layne after Layne Staley.

I haven't put as much thought into a daughter's name. I really like names with long vowel sounds though, so it would probably be a name with a long vowel sound in it or one that has nicknames that do.

I always wanted to name a girl Katara, a little out of the ordinary yes but you could always go by Kat. For a boy I would want something tough such as Max Power or Wolf!

Miguel, just so I can be a bastard to him, also because my Dad nearly called me that after Miguel Indurain (he won 5 consecutive Tour De Frances, me dad and his brothers like cycling [Me cousins named after Greg LeMond]).

I did have a list of about 50 other names to call my kids in my school planner but I've lost it.

If I had another son I would call him either Fargus (after the jester dude from Pandemonium), Clyde (the orange ghost from Pac-Man) or Raditz (Goku's brother in Dragonball Z).

For a daughter I like the names Amy or Charlotte. Yeah, normal names for the girls.

I have a son who's 1 1/2 years old now. His name is Malcolm (because Mal Reynolds is awesome) Flynn (it means "son of a redhead" and I'm a soulless ginger). If my wife and I end up with a girl she'll be D'Arcy Rebekah.

Honestly, I have no clue what I'd name a child of my own, because I can't picture the squidgy little child well enough to think of one. My brother, however, has the perfect name picked out for his future daughter.

Her name will be: Piliferrrrrrrrrrr [full stop rest] Henkin. (Don't forget to roll the r's)

I'm going to have to go with Miles.

Partly because I love that name, and as a backhanded acknowledgement of my sister's boyfriend and likely husband, Giles, who me and my dad have dubbed 'Miles' since first we met him. I've managed to annoy the hell out of him with that.

Also, a particular Proclaimers song would be my son's theme.

I'm hoping for twin daughters, myself. I'll settle for triplets if that's the case; one can only hope.

Names would be (first then middle) Tia Matthew, Samus Aran and Terra Branford.

Yes, I am a total gaming nerd.

If I get a boy...I dunno. Perhaps Phoenix...or maybe Alex. Not sure. I'm just banking on getting daughters.

If it's a girl, Anastasia or Jocelyn, with Felicia a third choice.

If it's a boy, Richard, Thomas or Matthew.

This is of course, unless my spouse violently opposes or something.
