I'm far from anonymous on here, I dont really thrive on anonymity on the internet.. Having a photo of me in my profile here, as well as my name, location, and a link to my facebook profile with my full name and even more details.

Not that I really care about all that. But with that information freely available, one thing I will not do is name my crush. :p

Lauren. She's cute, and extremely friendly, and pretty damn smart. I had a Spanish class with her last semester, but I never made a move because I'm an idiot. Now, I see her every now and then on campus, but we don't have any kind of regular interaction. Just going up to her and asking her out at this point would be creepy.

I've missed my window. It's a shame, but there are always other girls. Actually, there's one in particular...

Having a desire to date someone and being in love are completely different.

It's kind of faded since she has a boyfriend and I had a crush on her a couple months back, but her name's Kira. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed but she's sweet.

Mine is named Kevin. He said he liked me, I said I liked him, and we were fooling around for a bit in secret. I wasn't good enough in that respect, I guess, so he dumped me so that he could flirt with a blue-haired girl.

And yet I still like him.

Sucks.
Eh...Blue hair?...Confusion has I...

OT: Every time i have a crush on a girl, she either has a boyfriend, is "recooping" from a break-up, or is a lesbian...My luck sux with girls :(. There was this one time where a girl with no boy/girlfriend, wasn't "recooping", and was straight, liked me. Only problem: I was completely oblivious until my friend told me...after she moved...

Only 'crush' I've ever had was on one of my friends a few years ago.
Her name was Ashley... was when I realised I liked girls :p

Sasha. Good god, she is beautiful. I hate calling anything perfect, since there is always room for improvement, but she comes damn close. Unfortunately (as there is always an 'unfortunately') I have zero chance with her. The bigger problem, however, is the fact that being around her and knowing that there will never be anything is making me absolutely miserable. And as fate would have it I have to spend the next 2 years seeing her 5 days a week, for up to between 5-8 hours per day.

So, if anyone wants to offer some advice, I'll be open to suggestions :p How do I get over someone without spending a long time away from them? I have considered asking her out, in the vain hope that rejection will cause me to lose my crush on her, but how do you ask someone out when you know that you will get a firm and resounding 'No' ?

Apart from her, I also have a history of crushing on somebody (heh, I crush them) following a change of environment. At every school I have ever gone to, I have crushed on somebody within a few weeks, and then keep that crush until I move school again. And I am honestly sick of it. My record is with this Sasha, whom I must have fallen for within a couple of days (one of my friends, who is pretty clever, figured it out in a week. I was impressed, to say the least).

Anyway, thats my story. Now lets hear some more of yours :)

Hah, I'm going to avoid naming names, as at least one person I know is on the site, but I do have one, and I see her on a frequent basis, on account of being in school with her.

Elia, emphasis on the "li", apparently.

I had a crush on her for a few months and eventually worked up the nerve to confess my feelings. Since it was the first I'd ever done that, it was kind of a big deal for me, so I went the extra mile and drew for her.

She had a boyfriend.

profound....sadnesss.....
That sucks, but it happens.. But hey, you get props for the Street Fighter reference.

[sub]That was Guy from Street Fighter you were quoting, right? Right?[/sub]

As for me, I don't really have someone I consider a crush, but there is this girl from work I'd like to, you know.

... Don't look at me that way.

None at the moment, a couple of months ago there was a girl named Abi I was into but I asked her out and it turned out she was a devout Christian who would only date someone with the same religion as her, so that was bummer :-(

Is that supposed to be spelt 'Siobhan' perchance?
Nope. Although it might have been Shiffawn. Like the fabric + bambi.

Anyways, mine is named Sarah.
Too bad he was Mormon.
Sadly, so is mine.
Ah, crap, that pretty much screws casual dalliances. Or long term relationships, unless you're willing to convert.
Doesn't mean we can't hangout, though :D
Not all Mormons care that much about whether their spouse is a member of their church or not. Admittedly, lots of us do hope for a similar religious view as our wife/husband, but it's not necessary for happiness.
As part of an unlikely development, I totally went out on a date with her Wednesday. :D
