My stance on DLC is pretty much that it cheapens the feel of the game and destroys the continuity of the storyline and game play. It serves as nothing more than a marketing scheme for the publishers to release 80% of a game and charge more money for the other 20%.
So, with that in mind. Let's make a game of this. If you were the one to publish a classic game the year it came out but had the technology to add DLC to any game of your choice, what obnoxious detail can you think of to make DLC?
EX: Legend of Zelda - "Master using it and you can have this... for only a $1.99" when finding the White Sword.
