Hola everyone,

I am going to be starting a new support group for people who suffer from depression and anxiety. I already have everything I need for it: supplies, material, people, techniques. I just need one final piece and this has been the hardest part.

A Name.

Right now its called mood lite and I hate that name. Since I'm the new leader of the group I have been given the chance to rename its since the group members don't like the name either.

I need to think of something creative but I can't right now. I know there are tons of creative people here and I think you all can really help me. I'll even give you credit in group. Not that anyone there would know you, but still. Thanks in advance for your help.

Also, for more of a discussion, feel free to talk about your experiences in groups like this or give your opinion on how to run a group such as this.

You're Awesome.

I'm not that good with names but maybe that will make them feel a tiny smidge better.

The anti-depressants.

Melanchauliflower?
Sorry... that was really bad...
Ok, if I can come up with anything more useful, I'll edit this post.

How about 'Brave Face', or 'Brave Faces Anonymous' or some kind of play on the phrase "putting on a Brave Face"?

My reasoning is that when you're suffering from depression and anxiety, you often put on a brave face and hide it from others, and this group would be a place where you can drop that pretence, take off that mask and admit how you're feeling depressed and anxious in like minded company.

A cookie for anyone who sees it...
Ho hum. =]
I'll take a chocolate chip, thanks.
Why does the apostrophe break it...?
He can have it, there's something white on one of the chips...

That, my good man, is called "reflection".

"DON'T PANIC."

In nice big, friendly letters.

Or,

Hope?
Medallion?
or, my best,

Pride-aid.

Granted, I may have just been looking at my bookshelf and mashing random words together.

These are mostly good ideas. I like the funny ones. The anti depressants was good, so was melancholiflower. I think a funny or ironic name would entice some people. If it were up to my boss it would be called "coping with depression or something uncreative like that. I'm hoping the actual group members will have some ideas too.

Also, should I start a group like this here on the escapist? I could look for people who post overly depressing or cynical thoughts and then invite them.
