Naming Electronic Devices?

Escapees, do you personalise your gaming consoles, PCs, laptops, iPods, mobile phones, etc. by giving them pet names? Either when you're prompted to give your console/PC an identity, or just because you're fond of them?

I do. :S My DSi XL is named Merlin, my XBOX360 is Megatron, my iPod is Linus, my mobile phone is Grimlock and my MacBook is Copernicus. (Topic sort-of inspired by me not knowing what to name my Kindle. XD)

I name them when asked, but never call them by those names.

i.e. PS3 in bedroom is IDed as New Troll but I call it "The PS3" or "The Slim PS3." PS3 in living room is IDed as Ryan but I call it "My PS3" or sometimes "Fatboy." Same with everything else, usually just add either "My" or "The" in front of whatever it is, like "My Nano" or "The Router."

I tend to get sentimental about my electronics. I'll give them names when prompted.

My Desktop is Riku, my laptop is Henry, my Ipod is Ted, and my Nook is Tali.

I name my 40k models. <.<
Lord Stukov, Shass'O Mur'phy and Shaper Freud.

My Tau commander Mur'phy is of course named after Murphy's law due to his tendency of missing when he needs 2+ to hit.

In honor of this thread I have decided to name my laptop "Mr Foldy".

My Xbox will henceforth be known as "Captain Wilson".

My PC however, will remain "My PC".

My laptop's called Bert, My Xbox hard Drive is called Dave and my iPod is called Sir Digby Lawrence Worthington IV. Confuses the shit out of my family, but it makes me giggle.
