Why would you go up to a man just living his life, who's actually helping the community, and hassle him, let alone attack him?

On the sidewalk was where I spent most of my days,
Helping civilians, keeping things cool,
Dressing as Batman an' pitying fools,
When a big burly guy who was up to no good,
Starting throwing cones at me and acting rude,
My ego got hurt and even though I was scared,
I started a fight and got my ass kicked there,
Someone called the police and when they came near,
He threw me on the floor and punched me in the ear,
If anything I would say that this fight was queer,
But when you live in Vegas it happens daily here.

As a friend of a cosplayer who goes to birthday parties dressed as batman, this is pathetic. It's happened to him too but he kicked the douches ass. Idiots are going to be idiots though...

I also suspect the normal bloke had a bit of a joke at Batmans expense which he took as a serious insult. You can tell in the body language the bloke is acting like it's all a joke up until after he fake throws the traffic cone, then the B seems to say something which changes the mood.
Disclaimer: I am not suggesting dress up is weird; I've dressed up numerous times, once even as the great hero Pot Noodle Man. I am saying that dressing up and hanging about alone on the street for no reason other than attention is weird.
