@Dayne, Just watch the first 100 episodes of Naruto, then switch over to the manga. A much better experience; the fillers while not entirely awful (as it did give the supporting cast their own arcs in a way), was not necessary to the flow of the story.

No filler is ever necessary to any anime. It is only there so the manga can get ahead again. Though naruto went way overboard. Was like 150 episodes of filler in a row. Wanted to die or something. Only good filler was rock lee v raiga when rock lee was drunk.

They needed the voice actors voice to drop for the second season,(I'm guessing) which is set 2 and a half years from the first. I believe there was a year and a half of filler.

Naruto rules. there are a number of jutsus i would like, Byakugan, Katon: Goukakyuu/Housenka/Ryka, the water one Kakshi and Zabuza do with the twin dragons, Primary Lotus, Jyuukenho: Hakke Rokajuuyonsho, most of Gaara's jutsus but the best to have would be the Kuchiyose. depending on what i could summon it could be really good

I thought the fireball jutsu would be fun. I'd be cornered by someone and I suddenly let out a giant blast of fire from my mouth. They'd never see it coming.

But just for sheer usefulness, assuming I had the necessary chakra to do it like Naruto, the Shadow Clone jutsu would be my pick.

Summoning...between Monkey Enma, Gamabunta, and Fang Pursuit Jutsu...I'll just go with Gamabunta.

Two and a half years of suffering. It was the main reason I read the manga, to my original dismay, as for the most part watching the anime is better as it is in motion and does at points fill in blanks and voids. 2:13 to 3:18, the most excrutiating thing I've experienced in terms of them stretching out an episode.

And another thing, what is with people despising Naruto now that it is popular? It's not like people are calling it the best thing since sliced bread or anyhing so where is the need for the hate?

I'm really not a big fan of the anime, takes way to damn long to go anywhere. I enjoy the Manga though, it's pretty dumb but it's a lot of fun. I also hate Sasuke with an undying passion.

Personally, I would do great mischif with Shikimaru's Shadow Thingy.
