Higeki ran forward to help his comrade, forming handseals on the way.
Theres plenty of morning dew around me to form a small water jutsu.

Higeki jumped above the palms user, handseals still flying.
"Earth Style, Earth Swamp Jutsu!" Higeki shouted, instantly forming a swamp under the Byakugan user's feet, stopping him from being able to move.
Landing to the side of Diroji, Higeki whipped around forming more handseals, "Water Style, Black Rain Jutsu!"
Thick black rain started to fall over the enemy.

The rain is actually oil.

Diroji flinched as the strikes made his arm numb but knew he could still beat the Hyuuga.

"So tell me? Can those eyes of yours see through solid steel?"

With his right hand still on his sword he smash the guard into his enemy's face, and pulled free, then he began a downward slash at the Hyuuga.

I sat there stuck stuck in by the middle of the both them covered in oil when one of the ninjas slashed at me I was barely able to somewhat move the blade so that it only gash my arms. "ahhhh Shilo i need help now" he called to the bug controller to his aid Shilo jumped to his aid forming hand seal as he was running. He motioned his bugs to attack the ninjas and yelled out "Katon Kikaichu jutsu" the bugs in an instant turned to fire so that a storm of fire bugs where heading towards them.

"What are you doing idiot i'm coverd in Oil" yelled out the hyuga ninja

Shilo looked at him with cold eyes "it's the most logical thing to do to take them both out"

"Shit theres not enough water here!" Higeki screamed.
Higeki formed some handseals, he was almost at his limit of chakra.

"Doton, Iwa No Doomu!"(Earth Style, Earth Dome Jutsu) A thick dome of stone covered Higeki and Diroji, this stone was almost impossible to destroy and automatically repairs all damage done to it.

Higeki collapsed to his knees inside the dome, panting. "Shit Diroji, I don't know how much more I can do. I'm at my limit." Sweat dripped from the end of Higeki's nose. "I wonder how the others are doing."

The sound of something impacting with the dome echoed throughout the inside. Higeki tried his hardest to hold consciousness to keep the jutsu going.

Docere had suspected a trap, he did not have any external clues as to where or when though, so he had distanced himself from the rest of his group, choosing now to act

Forming hand signs, Docere quickly cries out "Kanryuu no jutsu"

The lesser dragon of flames appears, Docere quickly orders it to focus its flames against the bug ninja, while he used the last of his chakra to activate the Kanmura, as he and his faithful drake leap into action, the dragons powerful flames incinerate the nearby insects, showing the greater intensity of the dragon's flames, but Docere couldn't see the condition of their controller, then he pulls out his two swords and jumps out slashing at the Hyuga ninja, shouting (in a rare moment of condescending happiness) "Even if you know exactly where my attacks are coming from, you still would have trouble dodging them at these speeds, even if you were in optimal condition"

"Thanks for the swamp" he calls out to the dome, not knowing if Higeki could hear him

Deciding it was now safe, Higeki took the dome down and slipped into unconsciousness.
I really hope I can count on these guys.

Shilo looked at the ninja make a Mud wall around himself.

"Hmmm what a shame a good waste of a life"

The flame bug jutsu hit the hyuga ninja head on and burned him to ashes as this happenede another ninja came from above and attacked him with a summoning dragon

"Interesting" thought Shilo he summoned his Ninhachi (Bug Ninja) "Nin attack that dragon with poison blade" at that moment he ran towards the summoning ninja and attacked with his bug jutsu"

Docere was shocked as the hyuga ninja was incinerated moments before he could decapitate said ninja, realizing that his job just got easier, he focused on the new horde of bugs, and and the ninja attacking his dragon. Docere quickly jumped through the horde, he knew that if this battle did not end soon, he would run out of chakra and be almost defenseless, the small electrical charges that escaped his body while using the kanmura was enough to kill the bugs that tried to attack him, he when he reached his target,the bug controller, he slashed through at two different angles, trying to sever his head with one sword and his legs with the other.

Diroji was trembling with rage.

That bastard betrayed his own teammate! I swear on my families name I'll make him pay.

The dome began to fall apart Diroji got ready, he charge his feet with chakra, and the minute the dome opened he body flicked, disappearing in a puff of smoke. When he reappeared he was sliding along the ground heading straight under the cloud of insects. As he disappeared into it and out of the bug controllers sight he body flicked again, reappearing as he dropped behind bug controller, his sword in mid swing.

Shilo dodged the ninjas two strikes from hitting head on but he was hurt on his left and right side He dodged back to gain his breath when he saw the hyugas original target appear right behind him. His target was too fast for him to react the attack left him hurt badly he fell back.

"Looks like i can't keep fighting these guy's much longer" he thought to himself. he got up "Well looks like this is not gonna go much longer since I'm already dead so might as well take you with me" he focused all his chakra around him and called all the insects to gasther around him "Daibakuha Kikaichu jutsu" (Great Bug Explosion jutsu)" the bugs gathered around him eating all his chakra Shino raised his hands apart from each other and detonated into a giant explosion

Dama used his chakra strings to pull himself out of the pit, looking at the battle before him and glaring he smirked"Fuck i missed all the fun i guess ill just have to clean what mess they left haha" pulling Natsugata(Current Puppet combination) close to the ninja covered in bugs he made a few hand signs "String solidification shield" and Natsugata opened its mouth releasing thousands of chakra strings which formed a barracade between the explosion and his teammates.

Then he pulled natsugata's arms off his torso and fired them into the fire dousing it in paralyzing poison.

Docere ended the Kanmura and made a few calculations,

Suumoning jutsu: 45% of Chakra
10 seconds of Kanmura: 10%
Frying 151 bugs with Discharges of Kanmura: 30% of Chakra

Although none of his techniques required much chakra, (Higeki's earth dome required at least twice as much as the dragon summoning), he didn't have much chakra to begin with, after a short battle, he was left with 15% of his chakra,

Fortunately he had ways to deal with his inadequacies,
Technically, his dragon suumoning jutsu was not a suummoning jutsu, but a materialization jutsu, and as such he could revert the dragon back into chakra to regain 5% of his total chakra,
And to deal with the other 80% of his used chakra, he put his hands on a small bead of onyx inlaid in the hilt of one of his swords, there were 3 others, 2 on each sword, and they all held a seal that contained enough chakra to revitalise him.

Docere knew that he would crash hard after several hours, but he needed to be in top condition until Higeki could use some Doton jutsu to hide them.


He called out, "What scrolls were they carrying?"

" I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got incinerated with them." Diro shifted through the ashes with his sword to look for the scrolls, hoping the scroll had something to protect it from fire.

This guy was a piece of work, first he kills his ally then himself. Just for a few damn scrolls, I guess Konoha is better without a psycho like him, but that Hyuuga, he didn't deserve to die like that. Not to mention what that's going to do to the tensions between the Hyuuga's and the Aburame's if either find out about it.

" We might want to get ready, there a good chance they're teammates will come to investigate the sound of the fight, if we prepare now, we can get them in an ambush."

"We have to move, our best bet is to get closer to the tower, and then hide with Higeki's Doton jutsu, but we need to hurry, i will probably only stay conscious for another 3 hours, so i hope Higeki wakes up before I go to sleep." said Docere, "Dama, can you use puppet jutsu to move Higeki until he wakes up? We can stay here for a few minutes to see if the scroll is still here, but we have to leave soon, i can fight off one or two ninja, but it would be better to hide, the more chakra i use at this point, the harder i'll crash later, and if half of our squad is incapacitated, i don't think you two could protect Higeki and me while finding and defeating an enemy squad, so unless one of you has a plan to get a scroll in the next 3 hours, we need to find or make a place to hide."

" Alright, then lets get moving, I think we should double back and take a different route, chances are they have this part of the forest covered in traps."

Diroji picked up Higeki and carried him to Dama.

"Alright I'm ready to go as soon as you guys are."

"Hey you may hate it here but I'm loving this. The forest reminds me of home, and if you don't like the killing you chose the wrong career." Boku said as the explosion went off "Yeah I did." He placed his hand on the ground and focused his chakra into his hand and spread it out as far as he could. "There was a fight about a mile north of here," Boku smirked "with an explosive ending."

Dama twirled his fingers and Natsugata picked up Higeki. Looking back at the blast zone Dama got an idea.

"Fine we'll hide but first i would like to set a trap or two for anyone who comes down here to see what happened" Jumping into the trees around the zone he lightly stabed about 5 kunai in 5 trees and attached strings to them, Securing every string on the tree opposite of the one the kunai was placed. A simple nuge on any string would send a blade towards the victim.
He finished off the trap by adding a splash of poison to each kunai that would slowly eat away at a ninja's chakra if not cured.

"Ahhh thats better, ok lets go"

Jaku turned to Kane looking at him condescendingly

"Kane you're a ninja it's our duty to do what's best for each of our village. If that means that you are gonna have to go walking through a dangerous Forrest or kill a whole village of ninjas you do it for you're village, and at the moment each of our villages need us to become a chunning to help our villages out" Jaku stood up and walked to Kane. "If you can't do a simple thing as walk through a Forrest for you're village you should've just became a ramen shop owner, and if you get in my way of doing my duty i will end you're life"

Jaku turned away disgusted at Kane a ninja needs to be completely loyal to his village it was his duty and for Kane to complain about a simple thing offended him

"Ok so there was n explosion that away we should head that way and see if there are any scrolls there. If we find any enemy ninja their they should already be tired of their previous fight"

I dashed in front of Kane, the only tracks of my movement were a few specs of dust floating around. I stared him deep into the eyes, he took a step back to get some breathing room. I closed my eyes, loosened my hands then put one on his shoulder gently. He looked confused, I just smiled at him and tilted my head to the side. My dopey eyes were making me feel tired, I'd been awake for an entire day. The excitement of the exam had kept me prepared, now I had new comrades, but my Elders would despise me for what happened. Tensions were high between Sand and Leaf.

"Kane, talk is cheap, and you spend a lot of it on us. Speed is my speciality. I'm not trying to be confrontational, just don't think for a moment that I'll give you, any of you an easy ride. I'm going to keep my eyes on all of you, especially you, hot head. Dishing out threats is for people who can't follow through with them. That's why I go in for the kill straight away."

I reached into my pocket and fumbled around for something. Kane got into a defensive position, thinking I was reaching for a scroll or shuriken. I found what I was looking for, and pulled it out of my pocket. I swung my arm into the air and pushed it downward, the rubber hammer hitting Kane right on the top of his head. He shook a little out of suprise. I turned to them all.

"Please behave. The explosion was to the east I think. There was an awful lot of Chakra being used, it's messing with my psychic abilities. Everything is fuzzy. I just know that there has been a struggle."

Jaku looked at Kane with a grin Kane had apparently gotten angry at his little comment jaku just turned around and walked away but turned back quickly to see Szuizu hitting Kane with a rubber mallet

"Hahahahah ok ok Szuizu we'll stop fighting I fear the great rubber mallet too much" Jaku grinned it was the first time in the whole exams that he had calmed down but he regained his posture

"Well now that that's over i suggest we head east towards the fight we may get lucky and find the scroll we need"
