Apparently, Natal is now called Kinect [http://play.tm/news/30584/xbox-360-natal-becomes-kinect-at-e3/]. How do you feel about this? Frankly, I preferred Natal.

I'm willing to bet that if Wave was ever on the table, it got renamed due to that name's similarity to Move.

Whatever happens, it's going to be called 'Shit'.

Just kidding, first I've heard about name changing.

If so, very bad choice. Their own research indicated barely 1/3 of the console owners know about Natal, changing it's name and trying to advertise it like such is horseshit.
Which is why it doesn't matter. The 1/3 would find out about a name change, and the 2/3 would figure out the name once it has been advertised. While I don't like the name, changing it to something stupid won't affect sales.

Either way, I don't believe they would swap names.
Project Natal has never been intended as the final name. It was the codename they used until they worked out the final name.

I feel no different than I did before. There is no chance of it being what they say it is going to be, or do what they say it will.

Even if so, Kinect is probaly one of the shittiest name you could think of. I rather prefer Natal as every big ass show has Natal plastered upon it. Either way, I heard they have two versions and if it's still 150, I am not interested at all.
My interest depends on it having a solid game lineup, rather than shitty minigames and pedobait.

One thing to mention about the "stupidity" of the name is that in a few months time no one will care. There have been more ridiculous names in the past. Not to mention the fuss the Wii had.

I just hope that someone (probably telltale) is planning on making some new twists on point-and-click games, cause of all the 3 motion controllers Kinect would suit it the best imo.

Makes me think of these

Not a great name. They should hire Don Draper to help them out.

K'nex was most certainly awesome, but nowhere near the majesty of Lego.

Meh, all their names are bad. Of course, the quality of the names seem to match the quality of the product in this case.

K'nex beats Lego any day. Sorry to crush your nostalgia. Need a Kleenex?

God, I'm having fun with this...

Build a working K'nex minigun and I'll concede the point. :p

I think Kinect is also suppose to be some sort of pun, because supposedly it will help people, kinect(read:Connect) with their games better.

... but... but...... I don't like any of these names.

Good thing I wasn't even a potential customer to begin with...
