Has anyone seen the first announced games? I was kind off hopeful for something unique, but it's the same garbage on the Wii.

What? You mean those little plastic gear and lever parts that snap together and were never even close to the popularity of Lego? That's what I thought when I heard that. Anyway, maybe it was another one of those "language" things that Nintendo was hit with when they renamed the Revolution. I suppose all them Japanese folk would eventually get tired from the entire world slapping them across the face every time they pronounced it "Natar".

You'd think that gamers would learn that if something is referred to as Project whatever, or that it's "codenamed" something, it wouldn't be the official name. Once again, rewording my response years before that "Wii is a better name than the rumored 'Go' or 'On'," I will say that Kinect at least sounds better than Wave. It probably isn't the official name anyway.
Doesn't Kinect refer to the 360slim/natal intergrated xbox, because it comes with built in wifi?

Makes a lot more sense than what I was thinking. I thought the "Kin" came from "Kinship", and from what I've seen of the 360 community, that is the LAST word that comes to mind!
I liked Natal... the name, I mean... and I'm surprised at how little a lot of you guys keep up with the news on this sort of thing. Eh, whatever. I'm going to call it Natal because Kinect is just silly. It's not even a word and the spell check thing freaks out when I type it, but for some reason doesn't with Natal.
I think Microsoft figures the success is in the stupid names...I mean Wii was a major success right? So Microsoft has to top them now....pretty sound logic if I do say so myself...=)Johnnyallstar said:
