Did they switch out Walhberg when I wasn't looking? He can play exactly one character, and that character is not charismatic in the least.
Actually, Max Payne was a shitty movie too, and not even in a fun camp way. Not as much his fault I guess, but it's not like his performance was convincing.

I like Mark Wahlberg but he isn't right for the role of Nathan Drake. I wanted Nathan Fillion to get this role.
Even though Mark Wahlberg is one of my favourite actors I think that Nathan Fillion would have suited this role better.

I like Nathan Fillion. But there's a reason he's not an international star. You might hate Wahlberg but he's been good in Boogie Nights, Three Kings, The Departed, The Fighter. And okay in The Perfect Storm, I Heart Huckabees, The Italian Job, The Big Hit and The Other Guys (and shit in a number of other movies). Nathan has been in Firefly, Buffy, and ahh.... Slither? Nice guy, but not in the same class.

Unfortunately from a media exec's point of view Fillion was in a TV show that was canceled after one season and is currently in a second tier cop show - first tier being long running series like CSI and Law and Order, don't take this as a criticism of my own of Castle, I love the show.

The fans are ruining fillion's career, he's more famous because of them than because of his own achievements. honestly, these crazy nerds cant see that they're actually hurting his chances of getting good work.
