Oh man, I played this a good six years ago. Played its sequel too. One of the nations I had in the sequel was pretty cool: I tried making a pirate nation with its constitution essentially being the pirate code of Captain Bartholomew. It's amazing what you can apply those rules to.

Haha, a while ago a friend and I created our own nations to use while playing Dawn of War just t make the experience more authentic and fun.

We created our own militaries, flags, history, politicians etc., it was really good fun. It's cool to see there is a site for it, I'll give it a go.

NationStates was actually one of my favourite places on the internet before I found the Escapist. Which is why my name here is actually my nation's name from NS. I was a somewhat active role player with a few puppets and General was always a great place to hang out and to discuss topics like evolution, abortion or the colour of your underwear for the hundredth time. Nowadays I just go there every now and then.
