Right now, I'm out ideas to post something interesting in the forums, but I just came with this.

Many of the readers at The Escapist, aren't from the US or even the UK and most obviously, english is most likely our second language.

So, just tell us wich is your native language and write something using YOUR native language, like a quote or a poem or somthing stupid, anything counts (except cursing in your own language).

Even if your native language is english, just write something similar to what I've already said.

So, I'm from Mexico and spanish is my native language:

I'm from the States so I guess english is my "native language." However my mom is Ecuadorian, so I speak Spanish as well.

Well I'm from the U.S. but I haven't seen anything Italian here yet so;

I'm American, so English is my language. Gotta thank the people from the UK for giving it to us though. Thanks guys!

- Bosnian (mother tongue): "Moja susjeda je veoma zanimljiva osoba. Mislim, da je najljep?a ?ena, koju sam ikad vidjeo."

- Slovene (the language of the country I live in, obviously): "Moja soseda je zelo zanimiva oseba. Mislim, da je najlep?a ?enska ki sem jo kadarkoli videl."

- English translation: "My neighbour is a very interesting person. I think she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

They are a bit similar indeed. The two are in comparison the same thing as Italian is to Spanish (good example I think).

I also speak Serbo-Croatian (mind you, the difference between Croat and Serbian grammar/structure/etc. is a bit different; so they aren't completely the same), German (my 5th language) and Italian (my 6th language).

My mother tongue is English, but my maternal grandparents both speak fluent Hungarian & Ukrainian. I only know a few phrases in both languages

Well I live in America, but both my parents are German. So I guess my native language would be German. I will try but I dont have a German keyboard so:

Wer reitet so spat durch Nacht und Wind?
