Naughty Dog Puts Uncharted 3 in Motion at VGAs

One of my favourite series of all time is getting a third installment. How wonderful. It looks utterly fantastic.

I can't wait to go treasure hunting with Drake again. Naughty Dog is definitely making a name for itself these days. They already had a good name in my book, but they just keep getting better.

Wait. You didn't already? I'd definitely recommend getting Uncharted 2, though. Not because you will need it for the story, but because it was just so awesome.

Hard to justify buying one before with only Uncharted 2 on my radar really, but fuck it.

There's some other interesting stuff coming out too so I'll look into that and probably sell the 360 - virtually everything it gets now is cheaper and prettier on the PC anyway.

That was my exact train of thought. Major excitement, more excitement in it being only a month away, then crushing despair when I realized it wasn't a British date.

InFamous and GoW 3 were showing up, but they weren't exactly killer apps (if I must use such an Appletonian phrase), although inFamous 2 is heading that way.

MGS 4 just sounds stupid; it seems to be praised for it's story yet no one can actually tell me what the fuck is going on. Even the creator said he has trouble.

Well, IF you do get a PS3, I can't recommend those games enough. Also, if you liked what you've seen of Uncharted 3, you gotta get Uncharted 2. It's just too epic.
