i was originally really hyped up about there being a Wonder Woman show, but i think it would've been less than average in quality. no offense to Adrianne, but she doesn't really capture wonder womans ferocity without looking like she shit her pants... in my opinion, wonder woman is supposed to be sort of a "handsome woman" if you know what i mean by that, not a hot young babe.

Coming from the people that thought The Cape would work, that says something. Oh well.

Empowered woman kicks butt in a low cut piece of armor... didn't Xena already take that spotlight?

Anyway, I am not too disappointed; the costume for Wonder Woman always seemed a prime example of comic book fashion not working in the real world.

Well... That was a long, drawn-out bit of nothing.

I feel sorry for the people who worked on it; clearly, they were trying.

Maybe the CW will pick up a low budget version?

I know the surprisingly good Aquaman pilot received the same fate, but the actor ended up cast as the much cooler Green Arrow in Smallville.

I think it might be for the best since it kinda sounded like it was going to be Alley McBeal with super powers. I also agree with the screening comments though. Who watches pilots and gets to decide what goes on the idiot box anyway? Just a random test audience of random kinds of people?

I hope she does a photoshoot before they pack up....

I was actually defending this. Before that "businesswoman by day, crimefighter by night" line.

Im not one of those who complain when anything is slightly different, but cmon. I have a script for you guys. Its called "wonder woman" and its in picture form and EVERYTHING!

Thank you GOD. Me and the comicbook fan community are rejoicing. This show was toxically bad.
Yeah, this had trainwreck written all over it from the beginning, glad it was dropped.

Those who would enjoy a WW series want the Amazon Princess, not Wonder McBeal.
Y'know, I'd like to see a She-Hulk pilot :)

I like her better than WW, tho', admit I'm biased.

Give Wonder Woman to Marvel, and I'll be you anything they'll be more respectful to the source material and the character than DC, let alone NBC.

If they'd just followed the canon instead of trying to make their own...
HOW DARE YOU!

To suggest such a thing when discussing motion pictures in any form is just preposterous.

As if any person would take the rational choice to go with what has worked for half a century or more. Better to reinvent the wheel and add some edges I say.

I'm gonna point out that pretty much any live action show about superheroes EVER (except that one... you know the one) was really really stupid or crappy for various reasons. I imagine this was no better.
Gonna need help here, I don't know which one you're talking about.

Wow so much for that idea hehe (not that it was much of an idea). So NBC has no problem with all the endless SyFy original movies and such that hey make which are total crap, yet NBC shies away from the Wonder Woman series? Go figure...

I had no interest in this Wonder Woman series because what I have seen of it looked pretty lame, but I have to think it might haev been just a bit better than the crap SyFy tends to spew out.

The costume would be better if the golden bits didn't look like plastic...
I would still like to see the pilot.

Give Joe Quesada control of Wonder Woman? No thank you.

"I can make it to the bathroom! I'm Wonder Woman and I have a Wonder Bladder!"

Anywho, can't say I'm disappointed. Then again, I can't say I paid much attention either.

[sub]I'm probably the only one willing to admit that it makes it look like she's constipated and rushing to the bathroom, but Wonder Bladder sounded better.[/sub]
