Okay so I liked Age of empires. I generally like strategy games. I like tower defences.

I loved final fantasy X, I guess I like JRPGs. Amnesia is amazing, I bought it as soon as I got this computer. I appreciate good music in games too.

Okay so I just sat here for 2 minutes typing what I could think of, it seems I'm not thinking very well..

I need cheap games on steam that are of quality. I could buy a whole bunch of super cheap games, or buy a single $25 game. Please suggest things to me I don't have much :)

Section 8: Prejudice is only $15, its campaign is superb and the multiplayer modes will keep you coming back.

If you wanted something for a good $5, there's this random indie title called VVVVVV. It's a good gameplay design and is probably good for a weekend game. It might be a bit difficult, but there are a lot of checkpoints lying around.

Arx Fatalis is probably one of the cheapest on Steam and it's damn good.

I mean, it's the same price as a hat in TF2, for God's sake!

Also, Sim City 4 is on sale today (in the UK, I hope everyone else gets the deal, though):

There are many good games on Steam and very cheap... I myself can't keep my credit card and a computer with the Steam open in the same room together.
The Valve Complete Pack, there are a world of games and is are fairly cheap...And every now and again they release Indie Packs, I strongly sugest go after those.

Over 70 hours of valid fun, or a sincere apology in return... And cake!

Medieval II or Rome Total war. They were both like ten bucks last I checked.

Perhaps Recettear, shop management and dungeon crawling. I don't quite remember what it costed though.

Shame you just missed the massive sale on the Mount & Blade games. And if you're gonna pick up Dwarfs?! you might as well just get Dwarf Fortress instead. It's free, with plenty of mods to make it look halfway decent.

Dwarfs? actually states it's based on "great games like Dwarf Fortress".

This http://store.steampowered.com/browse/under4 will give you all the cheap games.

From the front page I'd say Plants vs Zombies, X-Com pack and VVVVV

Is Sol Survivor still on sale? If so, get that. Yesterday I would have said Plants vs. Zombies since it was on sale for dirt cheap.

edit: Just checked, Sol Survivor is still on sale. Also, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 are on sale and you can't go wrong with them.
