No I am not new to anime so I know a lot of the characters just look under age.

It's fast paced, muti-character and multi-layered story that never rests through 24 mind boggling episodes. It has its cutesy moments, but it's mostly serious. It has depictions of realistic gore - i.e. people stabbing and shooting each other, some admirably well written characters and relationships (What? An anime that does a gay relationship well? BUAH?) and a plot that WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.
Don't look at the wiki page or read about it as spoilers can ruin your entire experience!

Damn.. i was going to suggest this one too. guess to add to it, check the manga ending if you want a more "complete" ending to mirai nikki. Great story.

It would be better if you were a bit more specifics about likes and dislikes eg. no ecchi, bloody violence or something like that. Then I could give you more animes based on that. I know you said all suggestions valid but it would give me a better idea of what you wanted also you could ask the anime group on the Escapist too.

I'd argue that K-ON! and Lucky Star are crap, but yeah, all those other ones are solid.

Bleach is actually on its last leg and it's gotten pretty shit lately. It really just went downhill after the soul society arc. Speed Grapher is also hammy ridiculousness that isn't really on the same level of quality as the others. Also, Black and White is much, much better than Tekkonkinkreet, so I'd recommend just reading it.

I'd recommend Durarara. It's not a high school drama per se (a la Clannad), but the characters are in high school and there's drama. Not so much romance, but what romance is there is well-done. Probably an understatement, but meh. Just watch it.

My friend keeps telling me adventure time is an anime too, but it's more of a cartoon? Or are they the same? I'm really not sure of the definition, but thats good too. Watch that too.
