Lately I've been going through games very quickly and been getting tired of some new "sandbox" games. Does anyone have an amazing Sci-Fi RPG that they would consider me getting? I'm looking for things around space simulations to something similar to Kotor. Chances are I've played most there is.

TL;DL anyone know any good Sci-fi RPG's?

Mass Effect?
KOTOR 1&2?
Isn't there a JRPG called Starfox or something?
And isn't Xenosaga kinda like that?
Sorry, I am not into JRPGs

Well if you compared to Kotor I'm not assuming you're allowing space sims into the fold, but whenever someone mentions video game and space in the same day I have to scream FREELANCER IS THE BEST SPACE SIM EVER CREATED.

Freespace 2 was pretty good as well.

Tried Mass Effect and Freelancer. I seem to burn through games easily, but I'm looking for a decent difficulty(was done playing borderlands and all I do is make headshots and get money for it) I barely get a scratch :'(

A JRPG called Star Fox? I seriously pity that you've never played Star Fox 64. That game was anything but JRPG, and was amazing.

And if I had to reccomend one to you, OP, both I would say have already been said. Mass Effect and Freelancer.

EDIT: ... Ok then, you've already tried them. Nevermind. Can't think of any more.

It would help if we know what systems you have. If a PS2 is in your possession, I'd recommend Rouge Galaxy. It may seem like a "sandbox" game (especially on the first planet(say that with a Groucho Marx tone)), but it's a solid RPG worth any player's time.

Not sure about Sci-fi RPGs; don't seem to be populated very much - I can recommend a few fantasy RPGs, but I'm guessing you're not interested.

Meh, I prefered Starlancer, but thats me - also, Freelancer was, at best, being silly about my country (Note the 'Bretonia' victorian era helmets and redcoats)

I have every system except the PS3, I do have rogue galaxy and it's been done for awhile :(
I think there's no hope for my Sci-Fi RPG lust.

Never owned a N64 :(
But it was Star Ocean I was thinking of, only remember it because of the Unskippable episode about it. My bad.

Hope OP you find a good one.

If you mean an MMO, do wither Anarchy Online or Taikodom. If not, can't say anything.
