need a recommendation on games

I have not played a video game in a month on my own will with out a friend forcing me to play until 2 days ago my friends were going through stores to look at stuff and not buy it, they had a big screen there previewing games, this made me remember video games are freaking awesome.

So I'm thinking maybe if i get something new ill want to play more again.

I have Call of duty, Halo 3, gears of war 2, Battle field bad company... As you can see I'm a shooter junkie
Other games i have that i loved are Burn out Paradise, Civ revolution and Battle for middle earth 2

Edit: left out 2 games, oblivion and fall out, sorry bethesda

Anyone have a good recommendation, preferably for X-box 360

Im looking for at least one racing game.. and yes i know about Prototype

I thought NFS:Most Wanted was a good Racing Game, horrible story aside.

Left 4 Dead isnt a bad shooter, shallow as it may be.

For that game the multi-player was surprisingly fun and easy to get use to.

I have a friend who claims that if you like Gears, then you might like Dark Sector - for the 8 bucks it costs at Gamestop, anyway. Don't pay full price for it, or even $20 - but for $8 it might be enjoyable.

Remember it's Call of Juarez 2: Bound in Blood. Don't get the first one, I played it, and it sucked monkey balls.

Well. Fallout 3 will last you long but it won't please your desire for a real shooter, if your PC can handle it (as opposed to playing it on a console), I think the mod community will be to your satisfaction. Check it out. Play Doom 3 if you haven't already. Try Call Of Juarez as mentioned earlier. Racing game: GRID. I've never really liked racing games but even I loved GRID.

EDIT: Just remembered you can download "Battlefield: 1943" for like 15$, it's supposed to be very well worth the cash.

One of the best games I've played for x-box 360 is Bioshock, I think now its only like $15
I almost forgot Assassins Creed is great and I know its under $20

A great shooter game that's pretty cheap now-a-days is Bioshock. The sequel's coming out soon too so if you havn't played it this is an excellent time.

As for a racing game I'd check out Fuel. My friend has it and that's all he plays. He's a FPS guy too but he loves a good racing game so I'd definitely look into it.

You could probably pick up a copy of PREY for next to nothing. Its not the best of Fps's But it had a good immagination, and a pretty meaty length to it. Dead Space was Really good also and i would reccomend a slice of that.
