I'm doing a research paper on modes of Transportation and how they could affect people's perceptions of their communities. In other words does someone that walks everywhere have a smaller sense of place than someone with a car? or someone who takes the bus? I'm using Australia as a case study for a few reasons. One, because I want to go to grad school there and this is a contrived reason to show what I've learned about the area to show as a writing sample in grad school applications. Two, from a planning perspective (at least in your cities that I can gather) you tend to have better and more accessible public transit both in and around the cities. And Three because I am genuinely interested in this topic. So either in a message or in a post tell me where you live, what's your main mode of transportation (walk, bike, drive, public transit) and then tell me relatively how far you tend to go to visit friends, go grocery shopping, leisure or anything else that you think may help me. If any of this was confusing just message me I'll try to be more clear, I'm a bad writer. Thanks

Sounds good, I'm trying to get a rough Idea and this is a simple way to collect some semi-reliable data.
