Need Dragon Age advice.

As Im about to start a 2nd playthrough (just entered fort drakon), I have a couple of questions:

a) Can Wynne become a good arcane warrior?
b) What are the 3 best swords and Armour sets in the game?
c) What is the best bow/crossbow in the game?
d) Can I smell smoke in here?

Keep in mind that I don't have any DLC other than the day one and feastday gifts/pranks.
Advice?

A: Anyone can be a good anything if you spend enough points.
B: Go for axes instead, axes are better. Armors vary depending on what you want to do with them.
C: Marjorline's recurve is the best, but it's Lelianana exclusive.

a. as long as you dont use Shimmering Shield, Wynne is a good AC.
b. Yusaris and Ageless are definitely up there, but i dont know for sure. and armor, the Dragonscale Armor sets and Juggernaut (found on the Revenants at the tombstones in the Dalish Forest.
C. the best one ive seen is Marjolaine´s Recurve, but that is Leliana-exclusive and can only be found if you do her side-quest.
D. i dont know.

a) I wouldn't suggest it, Wynne needs all the mana she can muster because she's mostly a healer.
b) I'd personally say the Juggernaut set and, if you have the add ons, the Blood Dragon Armour and King Cailan's Armour.
c) The bow on Leliana's quest is easily the best I've seen, but only Leliana can use it. There's a really good bow called I think the Forgemaster in the Dark Spawn fort. As for crossbows, not sure, there's a fairly nice one in the Warden's Keep downloadable content though.
d) Yes, but you can fix that by taking your hand off the gas cooker.

Wynne already comes pre-built as a Healer, so speccing her into Arcane Warrior spells would take a long time...

As for swords, I suggest you look here. [http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Longswords] You can get a lot of other useful info there. But of the non-DLC swords, Keening Blade and Topsider's Honor are the best.

I wouldn't suggest it. Wynne is automatically a Spirit Healer, and she starts with a lot of healing magic. Morrigan's not a bad healer, but Wynne is miles better. Morrigan's better for damage.

Ask Leliana about her past as a bard, get her first approval rank (Inspired minor cunning) and travel with her in your party. It will trigger a "Random" encounter where assassins are sent for her by her old boss.

A.)Mages only real job is healing, but you can probably make her one with the right build.

B.) The best sword is Starfang, which is a random encounter when you get The Wardens Keep, its the only tier 8 gear before Awakening. Best armour set I found was Legion armour gotten in the

Anvil of the void mission, you find pieces in The Dead Trenches

C.) Marjorlines recurve, you get it from doing a quest you get from Leliana, you have to choose options when talking to her.

A)Not really advised, but I've never tried. Wynne is better as a healer; if you want an AW you should probably start your own mage.
B)Keening Blade, Imperial Edge, and the Cousland Family Sword in that order.
Top three armor sets vary, but I'd say Wade's Superior Dragonbone Armor, Juggernaut Armor Set, and Effort Armor Set.
C) Marjolaine's recurve, but it is Leliana exclusive.
The best non-leliana bow is Far Song, with runners up being Falon'Din's Reach and Bow of the Golden Sun.
D)Yes. Yes I do. Coming from my car.
