I was playing my favourite game and was going to transfer it to a freinds computer. Had trouble finding the damn thing because it was hidden and not in the place that i installed it to. Here's the big catch though; it has a file called trace that in fact does trace us. Why would EA do this to us?

i'm starting to go like that after finding this trace. I don't like people seeing what i do by looking over my shoulder let alone this thing. A trace from a big company doesn't make sense, and yet here it is. The evidence is undeniable.

Wait... A company whose software you've installed, or are accessing from your computer traces you? IMPOSSIBLE!

Wake up my friend.... You're being traced by several different companies just viewing this page...

While it may be true that companies are view the page, i'd rather be told that i'm being traced by a comapny, rather then it just being hidden in a file that was hard to access. And it does in fact trace us. If you want to find out yourself, i welcome it. Download the game (small game mind, only about 1.76 gb) and access the game files in your C drive and you will see a notepad with information of what you have done.

Need for Spee? The Germans had that, but they never did get the thing built.

Okay.

But the real question is...

Why are you playing Need for Speed World.. or better yet, why are you paying for it?!

I kid.. I kid.

Anyway, many people really need to wake up to the current times. The internet is starting to transform into something bitter. Nearly identical in fashion in the way that the media of the world transformed into one big giant propaganda network for corporations. There used to be tons of media companies, now they're all owned by a handful of corporations, and by handful I mean.. surprisingly few.

Now, guess what? These same companies, are trying to squeeze their way in by doing small things like this. Death by a thousand cuts. Even the Google CEO states that he views the removal of privacy and anonymity as the future of the internet.

Google is completely f'ing evil as far as I'm concerned, and that statement is not meant to be funny. When I see companies like EA, I picture Google, and Microsoft. Like every other venue, it's all about the power. Controlling what you know, what you learn, and regulating your awareness of issues that are detrimental to their goals. Some of their goals being pretty fucking awful to humanity.
