I've said this several times before, and I emphasise it:

I remain convinced that there isn't such a creature as an efficient gaming laptop. The graphics cards in even the most expensive laptops are poor and inefficient versus those in desktops.

I suggest that you purchase a gaming desktop; if you already have one, I wouldn't spend any more than $750 on a laptop, full stop. Frankly, you're talking about poor performance, crap battery life and back-crippling weight after all that. They also heat up a lot, making it rather uncomfortable to use for long periods.
I disagree, my 2 and a half year old laptop can still run all of Valves games on full wack, and even Crysis on mid/high... and as for battery life, I barely move it from the desk anyway (its for Uni). It would have cost about 1400 pounds tho, but I got it half price...

A laptop is a subspecies of the Desktop Computer. It has adapted so the "busy" type of humans that want to carry their computer everywhere they go. Also during the adaptation process, the laptop has lost it's capabilities of playing games.
Aka don't even bother with a gaming laptop, just buy a desktop PC or if you really want a "gaming laptop" then listen to me, don't even bother.

My mums boyfriend works for a computer place, so I get everything on discount.
My computer was £600 but I got it for £400 and we got two HD TVs for £800. Laptops at his are around £400 or so, but unfortunately, I live in England. Sorreh X(
