Back at a convention about a month ago, I did an interview with one of the VIP's. Long story short, I'm trying to re-edit the video to tone down the massive amount of background audio from the con itself while leaving or tuning up the audio of that actual interview. Got Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum for this - which came with some programs called Soundforge, NewBlueFX, and Vocal Eraser - but I'm simply far too inexperienced to know what specifically to do. I went through some of the tutorials that came with them, but have yet to figure out exactly what I need to do. Messed with Vocal Eraser and Soundforge in particular, but couldn't get it to tone down the background noise enough without effecting the interview itself. Anyone have any tips on how a novice like me should go about doing this? Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
