Need help finding a game(s)

My little brother asked me to help him find a game that fit a certain criteria, but unfortunately, my 'limited' game knowledge was unable to answer his inquiries.
This is why I turn to you, the anonymous (not so much on these forums ) all-knowing denizons of the internets to supplement my limited knowledge.
Here is my brother's question:

Dark souls seems to fit the criteria. It has both active (PvP and co-op with unknown players) and indirect (helpful messages and players' ghosts) online.

Gotta agree with Dark Souls. Bit hard though.
Maybe LoTR War in the North?

There aren't many games fitting that criteria on Xbox but I guess games like White Knight Chronicles sorta fit that even if it isn't the best game. He should just play some offline ones like Far Cry 3 or Fallout or get on a PC and play some MMORPGs.

I can't think of any online rpgs on the Xbox. Those are really only on pc as mmorpgs, and some medieval combat games if that's what he means.
