I haven't found new music to listen to in ages. Aside from some studio Ghibli covers by a collaboration of metal bands and some Joe Hisaishi compositions, I've been repeatedly listening to my existing library of music for over a year now. It's really starting to lose its charm. So I would ask for good examples in three types of music.

Metal has been my favourite genre of music pretty much since I started listening to music. Aside from Helloween's latest two studio albums and this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVsfIXNFxBw] hitting me like a freight train (seriously, especially the latter is fucking awesome), I haven't found anything worthwhile. I like the kind of fast-paced, energetic and upbeat songs, preferably with clean vocals, over the grim, slow and growly stuff.

Ever since I discovered Pendulum, a representative of a type of music I would have previously loathed, I've been fascinated by drum & bass. I liked their la(te)st album a lot more than the others, because the songs seemed to have a definite structure and weren't just the same thing playing for 4 minutes.

I started going to the gym about 2 months ago, and I don't really have a lot of music to get dem muscles pumpin', so anything that gets the adrenaline going is good for this I guess.

I would really like it if you could help me out with any of these.

Just based on listening to those songs (the one you linked and googling Helloween got me to "Forever and One" and "Windmill" on the Youtubes) and it sounds like you like a kind of punk/heavy sound (fast music, loud music, clean vocals).

With knowing nothing else, I'm just going to throw out bands whose albums I own that might scratch that need...

Sixx AM (Specifically the album "This is gonna Hurt")

Rise Against

I have not heard their new CD yet but...
Three Day's Grace

I do not own any of these guys CDs but everything I hear on the radio sounds sweet. I plan on getting their new one soon enough...
Avenged Sevenfold

Papa Roach
These are some of the bands I listen to when I'm working out (nothing in Japanese though so you're on your own there :D). Hopefully one of them will scratch your itch...

Your first requirement sounds a lot like power metal (especially given that Helloween and the song you listed are power metal). If you want really good power metal, look no further than Blind Guardian

If you don't mind a band that uses a mix of screaming and clean vocals, I would also recommend giving Mercenary a shot.

For blood pumping music, for me nothing beats some Strapping Young Lad

I may be able to recommend some more if you give me more details on what you are looking for, although I also encourage you to try to look outside of your favorite genres for something completely different.

Edit: How could I forget about Machinae Supremacy? If you want some video game themed power, it is hard to go wrong here. As a bonus, they have a large amount of music, including their first album, available on their website [http://www.machinaesupremacy.com/downloads/] for free.

I get my new music by listening to Music Choice's alternative music channel on my TV. They have a few ones for Metal, don't know their quality though compaired to what you like, since Im not a metal head. Music Choice tends to be near the end of the channels. Mine are in the 1800s. Just putting this out there if you have a TV service that has it.
