It's a gaming build I'm doing on a under $1000 dollar budget. Problem is that I can't figure out what I need for cooling and power. As for power, I don't know what kind of PSU I'll need, nor how many fans, and what kind of fans. How do I know how many I'll need?

Go with Antec or Seasonic for the PSU.

650w should be fine for a single card. Maybe 750w if you want to SLI/Crossfire.

Stock fans should be fine if you're not overclocking. Get the Hyper 212+ or NH-D14 if you are.

Use this. Put in your parts, then add 50 watts to the minimum, and you should be good.

For the brand, go with Seasonic, Antec, or Corsair. They are good brands and will test their PSU's in realistic conditions.

Cooling, I'm not your guy. Just make sure its quiet, because loud fans are not something you want.
