Hello, I'm trying to help my girlfriend with her statistics homework, but it's not going very well. We encountered a problem, but hopefully, someone here knows the way to solve it.
This deals with normal distribution, standard deviation and that whole area. I'll try to explain:
We have data from a survey, with 100 participants (n=100), it says that there is a normal distribution, and a 95% reference interval of [2, 24], which are the bottom and top values. We have to calculate the average and the standard deviation of the survey, using just that.
Thanks for trying!
