Hey guys.

I'm looking to get a new laptop to replace my crappy PC
I play WoW, so I was wondering if any of you could tell me if this laptop http://www.simplyacer.com/Acer_Aspire_5332_742723.html could play it?

Thanks for any and all help given :)

Well,

It will run it, it won't run it overly well - integrated graphics cards never run things particularly well.

How much are you willing to spend on a laptop/notebook?

This right here. Wow has a love/hate relationship with all things integrated. And with the latest Cata patch, it's supposed to hate them all the more.

It should run them okay, but you hit certain places with lots of lighting and effects, like in certain raids or Dalaran, and it'll bog down. Also, don't be surprised if you have to install a driver patch. If you do have to install one, you should be able to find the links necessary in the forums.

Still, aside from problem areas like those, you should be okay. Hope it turns out alright. =)

Yeah I would actually suggest something by Asus. Maybe something like this. Acer isn't the best but you will probably still be able to run WoW on that one you were thinking about with few hassles.

you should buy a new PC to replace your crappy PC, laptops aren't great gaming systems
some people do not have the room for a pc or are moving about often , hell i spent 4 months where i wasn't in the same town for more than a couple of days, and pc's are useless in these situations, yes if you can remain stationary thne do, but some people dont have that option.
of course, but the fact that he already has a PC made me asume he wouldn't necessary need an easy transportable system

Thx for help guys.

I would like to keep the price under £400, and I do need it to be mobile, so i can cary it with me etc with no hastle coz my pc has my recording equipment stored on it. And it would be good for school etc. From what most people say, ACER aren't as great, so what make would you suggest? remember under £400 and able to play WoW with relative ease lol
