I decided to buy dark souls prepare to die edition. I bought it in store, as a box and disk, which I installed. It also installed games for windows live. When I launched the game, it asked me to put the serial key in (which I had already done while installing) and sign in with a GFWL account, so I put the serial key in and put my Xbox Live account in. It then told me that the serial key had already been used.
After a little looking around, I found out that it was just saying that because it couldn't connect to the internet. I checked and my internet was fine. I then opened all the ports vaguely related to GFWL and dark souls I could find in the firewall, and then uninstalled and reinstalled GFWL. None of this has helped at all.
So, any ideas on how I could actually get to play the game I paid for?
