Hi all. I have a PC with a single Graphics Card (GTX 780). I use the HDMI port that goes to a TV above my monitor, which is plugged in using a DVI port. My question is, I'm thinking of getting another monitor - in that case, I would use the DVI port as a display. Would it look the same as my monitor plugged in with the VGA? Could I use SLI with just one graphics card? Thanks!

I'm slightly confused as to what is plugged in to what. Are you using a dual monitor setup?
DVI generally looks better than VGA.
SLI is two graphic cards connected together and working as one, so you can't use SLI with just one card.
Could describe your setup a little less confusing?

I think you're confusing dual graphics cards with dual displays. You can have two displays connected to the same graphics card, yes. With some older cards you may only be able to display one at a time but a 780 can output several. SLI on the other hand is by definition two graphics cards working in tandem.

And no, DVI and VGA will not look the same. DVI uses a digital signal so it is not subject to interference the same way that VGA is. How much worse it looks will depend on your cable quality and the signal strength coming from your graphics card. If both of your displays have either a DVI or HDMI input I suggest using those. Pro tip: You can convert a HDMI cable to DVI and vis versa with an adapter.
