I recently bought a laptop for a ridiculously cheap price. ($350 AUS, bearing in mind I was expecting to pay around $700-$800) Unfortunately, since I have no prior experience with PCs, and also because it seemed a very good deal, I didn't do much research into the graphics card: a NVIDIA GeForce 9300M G, which apparently runs DirectX 10.

The laptop itself is an Asus F6S (which nobody seems to have heard of), with the following specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T9300, 2.5GHz
RAM: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 200 GB
OS: Vista

I was wondering which games would run, if there are any websites you could point me to which would help, and if I could replace the card (and potentially the hard drive) with a faster and more powerful one.

You generally can't upgrade video on a laptop (except a few models where there are hacks to remove an arbitrary frequency limit).

Hmm .. is the Vista 32 bit or 64 bit?
You may have the option of getting more RAM, that always helps.
Might need to ask the people who sold you the laptop exactly what RAM will work, though.

Also hard drives aren't too difficult to upgrade, but with Vista it may be a little tricky .. easiest for someone who doesn't already know how to clone HDs might be to make a restore DVD, then replace the HD and restore.
