So heres my predicament:

When Mass Effect 2 came out almost a year ago, I was thrilled. I had pre-ordered it and was real excited for it and the pre-order bonus (terminus gear and what not). But wheh it did come out, and I went to pick it up, they told me that they were fresh out of pre-order dlc's and to come back another day, when they had more.

But one thing lead to another, and I got distracted and didn't think about it for a good few weeks. By then I decided that I had waited too long (and I lost the reciept D:).

So I ask a friend of mine who works at a different Gamestop to give me 'teh hookup'. Fastforward about a year, and he finally gets around to it, and gives it to me as a christmas gift (the cheeky bastard).

But it was in the nick of time apparently because on the card (I have multiples) that it was gonna expire in 5 days!
I don't know why but the code redemption is extremely invasive. And its not working for me. I don't know if it's ALREADY too late or I'm mesing up somewhere. So if anyone who's been through the long process with this specific DLC, I would appreciate any help.

TL;DR
I have a ME2 dlc thats not working, please help.

Yeah, the Bioware EA code thingy was a pain in the ass. I lost my preorder DLC because I input the code into a profile that never existed.
I skirted around this by using Dragon Age: Origins. In that game's menu you can enter that type of code.

I don't know if you have Dragon Age, if not, then sorry I can't be more help.

I actually do have Dragon Age, but I didn't know you could punch ME2 codes into it, and have it work. But thank you, thats gonna be the next thing I try.

It's probably already activated ... the problem is, it can be hard to tell .. try:
Go to the Bioware site.

Then under Profile > My registered game promotions .. is where you download it.

Yea the DA:O menu is just your bioware account. IIRC when you enter the code into your bioware account, you can download an .exe that installs the DLC. It's not clear what your problem is specifically, so sorry if this is insultingly simple. Log on to the Bioware site, and under profile under the picture, click redeem promo code. If it doesn't automatically go there, click "your registered game promotions" just above "redeem promo code". Click on the download button and you'll get that exe.

If it is too late, you can get it 'elsewhere', heck you already paid for it, so I think that's more than fair. Good luck, hope it works out

Yeah, I advise you do it through the website rather than through the Cerberus Network. Just add the codes to your Bioware account and you should be given a link to the .exes.
