Hi guys, got no idea if this is in the right place, if it isn't sorry, but I'm desperate for help...

Basically I'm running out of room on my 360 hard drive so I want a bigger one, but will I have to start a whole new profile or can a swap a profile between hard drives? I need more room but I certainly don't want to lose my gamerscore or downloaded content...

If it is possible to do this please let me know how, thanks.

Hmm. There's an option to "recover gamertag from Xbox Live" - if you can do that, there's no reason why your gamerscore wouldn't come with it.

As for downloaded content, Xbox Live does remember what your profile has downloaded (displays a tick next to things you've downloaded), so you can re-download it if you have to.

yah, so you can delete somthing your not using, then download it later when you want to use it again.

like delete a game that sucks, but you still might want to play later.

A memory card would be easiest. If you're on xbox live, when you get the new hard drive use the 'recover gamertag' option in the guide menu. All your DLC is still paid for, so you can still re-download it for free. Your saved game data however will not be transferred unless you physically move that yourself

When I bought a new hard drive it came with software that transfered everthing over, so it not a problem. Note: I did by the 120 Gig, so I dont know about the smaller ones.

The 120GB hard drive comes with a transfer kit that will transfer everything from the old HDD to the 120GB one.
